  • Compatible versions of Magento for our tool are as follows:

  • SVG file needs to be uploaded for artwork and design templates. Rest Vector files are yet not supported.
  • Once templates are created using an artwork, it will take 3-5 minutes to reflect in the grid (This time is for generation using the Cron process).
  • Output generation in the admin module will take 3-5 Minutes.
  • Name Number will work for simple as well as configurable products.
  • Supported file format PNG, JPG, SVG, PDF, EPS, AI.
  • Editable PDF does not support OTF fonts.
  • Object Lock
    • Will work if design template features in purchased
  • Cache
    • Cache will be stored for 15 minutes in browser side.

Yes, there is an option to enable or disable the ruler-gridlines on product edit page in magento admin.

Yes, our ruler-gridline deature is compatible with API solutions.

Can I change the interval for ruler displayed on the tool?

There is an option to specify the interval at store->configurations. You can specify your interval and select your unit there.

If I select RTL layout, then will my whole tool displayed in right-to-left format or do I need to make some other changes?

When you choose the RTL layout, the whole basic designer tool in converted to right-to-left layout. There may be some minor design chnages as per your requirements.

Can we enable/disable the configurator options for specific products?

Yes, there is an option to enable or disable the configurator in the backend.

Can we create the configurator using other image formats?

Currently, we are providing the solution using SVG type image. We shall start supporting other different formats like PNG soon.

Are there any prerequisites for a configurator?

Yes, product image and masking image should be in SVG format.

What Server Specification do you use for this?

What details will be required for the installation?

For magento, we'll require Admin, FTP and SSH details. For API solution it depends on the technology you are using.

Do you provide Clipart?

Yes we provide 10,000+ cliparts with Packages.

Is flash required to run this extension?

No, it is not required. Web-to-print Software is HTML5 based.

With which Magento versions is this software compatible?

Magento product design software is compatible with Magento version 2, and 2.3.*

What would be the on-tool downloadable and saved design file type?

Customers will be able to download and save the designs in .jpg or .png file format.

What would be the output file type?

The printable output file format will be in .pdf, .jpg, .png and .svg. Moreover, it will be visible in the order information tab in your admin panel.

What would be the compatible file format to upload masking images by admin?

The admin needs to upload masking images in .svg file formats.

Are there any restrictions for resolution of the product image?

Yes, to get high quality output, please upload high resolution product base image.

How to set the configuration so the customers upload high resolution image?

You can set minimum image size from the configuration.

How to create design templates?

Go to “Make the Design” option in the product grid. You can access your all designed templates from Mange Design Templates menu, and Design Template Categories.

Could we set DPI for Output files?

Yes you could set the DPI for Output files from Admin Backend -> Configurations Panel.

Do we need to add a separate catalog for designer products or it will work with existing catalog?

There is no need to create a separate catalog for designer products. You just need to enable product designer for a product in the existing catalog.

Which image library is used in this extension?

This tool uses GD libraries default for PHP.

How will grouping of all objects work into the canvas?

Based on the user inputs, all the selected objects will be considered as a single object and user will be able to edit and manage that grouped object using the tool.

How the object alignment will work?

For single object, alignment will work according to the design area canvas, but for group of selected objects, will align them according to objects.

How Name & Number feature will work?

It will only work with Configurable products. You have to enable Name & Number from product level attrubute. Also you need to select Name & Number tab from Store → Configuration(If you have selected custom tabs from catalog product, you need to select Name & Number there too).

Will it conflict with any of my existing Third-Party software?

This may conflict with other Third-party software. But you can always contact our support team for these issues. Just drop an email to support@brushyourideas.com and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

What should i do if i am unable to view 'Design button' for Simple / Configurable products?

Please ensure product has been configured as per the steps mentioned in the User Manual.

What is cache lifetime?

For angular, cache lifetime is of 15 minutes. For Magento, admin need to set cache lifetime from configurations.

How to create masking images?
